  • ½ tsp fine salt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter melted
  • ½ cup plain Greek yogurt
  • ½ cup whole milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Optional:

  • ¼ cup mini chocolate chips for topping
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts or pecans

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a muffin tin with paper liners.

  • In a large bowl, whisk melted butter, yogurt, milk, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
  • Fold dry ingredients into the wet mix gently—don’t overmix.
  • Fold in chocolate chips until just combined.
  • Divide batter into muffin cups, filling each almost full. Top with mini chips if desired.
  • Bake at 425°F for 6–7 minutes, then reduce heat to 350°F (175°C) and bake another 12–14 minutes.
  • Let the muffins rest in the pan for about 5 minutes, then gently move them to a wire rack to finish cooling. Enjoy warm!

Notes

Be sure to let the melted butter cool before mixing to avoid scrambling the eggs.
