  • 3 tablespoons chia seeds
  • ¾ cup milk of choice dairy, almond, coconut, oat, etc.
  • 1 –2 teaspoons maple syrup
  • teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of fine salt

Optional Add-Ins:

  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder for chocolate version
  • Fresh berries banana slices, or diced fruit
  • Toasted coconut nuts, or granola for topping
  • Ground cinnamon cardamom, or nutmeg

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl or jar, combine chia seeds, maple syrup, vanilla, and salt.
  • Pour in the milk and stir well until the mixture is fully blended.
  • Let it rest for 5 minutes, then stir again to break up clumps.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight.
  • Stir before serving and adjust thickness with more milk if needed.
  • Add toppings and enjoy!
