Ingredients
  

  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter melted
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • ½ tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • Generous pinch of baking powder
  • Tiny pinch of salt
  • 1 heaping tablespoon mini chocolate chips

Optional Add-Ins:

  • 1 teaspoon sprinkles
  • 1 teaspoon chopped walnuts or pecans
  • 1 teaspoon peanut butter or almond butter swirled in before microwaving

Instructions
 

  • Add butter to the mug and microwave for 20 seconds until melted.
  • Stir in brown sugar and granulated sugar until smooth.
  • Mix in milk and vanilla.
  • Add flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir just until combined.
  • Fold in chocolate chips and top with a few extra if you like.
  • Microwave on high for 45–60 seconds, just until puffed and edges are set.
  • Let cool for 30–60 seconds, then dig in warm with a spoon!

Notes

Contains wheat and dairy. Made without eggs. Be sure to use a microwave-safe mug (10–12 oz capacity works best) for even cooking and easy cleanup.
