Ingredients

  • 1 cup cottage cheese preferably full-fat or medium-fat
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder optional
  • ¼ teaspoon paprika optional

Optional Add-Ins: Your choice of dried herbs, chili flakes, or onion powder

Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven: Heat to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
  • Strain (If Needed): If the cottage cheese is watery, drain through a mesh strainer or gently press out some liquid.
  • Season: In a bowl, stir cottage cheese with salt, pepper, and any chosen spices.
  • Scoop & Shape: Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto the lined baking sheet, leaving space to spread. Flatten them evenly into thin circles.
  • Bake: Place in the oven for 15–20 minutes. Look for golden-brown edges.
  • Cool: Let the chips rest on the baking sheet for a couple of minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

If you’re sensitive to sodium, feel free to reduce the salt or use a low-sodium cottage cheese. Also, be sure to fully preheat your oven—consistent temperature is vital for even crisping.
