  • 2 large ripe bananas mashed
  • 2 eggs
  • cups milk dairy or non-dairy
  • cup melted butter or neutral oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Optional ¼ teaspoon cinnamon or nutmeg, ¼–½ cup chocolate chips, or crushed nuts

Instructions
 

  • Mix the Dry Ingredients: In a bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
  • Prepare the Wet Ingredients: In another bowl, mash bananas, then stir in eggs, milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
  • Combine: Gently fold the dry mixture into the banana mixture until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
  • Preheat Waffle Maker: Spray or lightly brush with oil to prevent sticking.
