  • ½ cup Granulated Sugar
  • ½ cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 large Egg
  • cups All-Purpose Flour
  • ¾ teaspoon Baking Soda

  • Cream the Butter and Sugars: In a bowl, beat softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add Peanut Butter and Egg: Mix in 1 cup of Jif peanut butter, then blend in the egg until smooth.
  • Combine Dry Ingredients: Whisk flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl. Gradually fold into the peanut butter mixture.
  • Shape and Press: Scoop tablespoon-sized dough balls, place on the baking sheet, and flatten with a fork in a crisscross pattern.
  • Bake: Bake for 10–12 minutes or until lightly golden at the edges. Cool briefly on the sheet before transferring to a wire rack.
